Do you think water and environmental issues are important in everyday life?

We are now looking for an Environmental Engineer for the pipeline network, focusing on drinking water quality and stormwater.

You will be part of the Production Department and be part of a competent group of environmental and process engineers, environmental engineers, and planners for the pipeline network.

The role involves broad collaboration – within the company, with municipalities, authorities, and our customers. You will play an important role in ensuring the quality of our water services. We are in an exciting development phase, where you will have the opportunity to help shape the future.

Your tasks
In the role of Environmental Engineer for the pipeline network, you will among other things:

  • Create, develop, and maintain sampling programs for drinking water as well as sampling programs for monitoring stormwater network discharges to recipients.
  • Work on building and managing self-monitoring programs for the operations, which includes developing governing documents and training relevant employees.
  • Have contact with authorities, including during inspection visits.
  • Follow up and investigate quality deviations and customer complaints.
  • Document and report deviations from routines, standards, and execution.
  • Participate in investigations related to drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater networks.
  • You will provide support to your colleagues in the company regarding issues related to water leaks, disturbances, emergency water management, and commissioning of pipelines. Additionally, regarding planning, development of routines, and quality-related projects on the pipeline networks.

Your qualifications
We are looking for someone with a university degree or other education that the employer deems relevant. A technical education with a focus on environment, chemistry, water supply, or equivalent, as well as experience in water operations, is advantageous.

As a person, you need to have a very good ability to communicate and collaborate with different stakeholders, as well as a good ability to express yourself in Swedish both orally and in writing. You are flexible, self-driven, and solution-oriented. You are skilled at prioritizing and switching between different tasks.
